Wales. A giant; "raven"; "The blessed". Half-brother of the mighty Manawyddan ap Llyr (in Ireland this was Manannan mac Lir) and Branwen; son of Llyr. Associated with Ravens, God of Prophecy, the arts, leaders, war, the Sun, music, writing. Patron god of the bards. See Bran and Branwen in legends section.
